— The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) will host a 15-minute
monthly audio segment on the Sky Radio Network, the top producer of business
radio talk shows on the nation's major airlines. ABI's shows will air
beginning in March, 2003 and run through August on United, American and
U.S. Airways. Sky Radio programs have an annual reach of over 210
million First and Business class travelers.
The programs will cover a variety of commercial and consumer bankruptcy
issues, and feature prominent industry players and ABI leaders as guests.
The initial installment of the ABI's "Bankruptcy Today" program
series will forecast coming developments in corporate reorganization,
focusing on retail and telecom firms. Guest panelists include ABI
President Andy Caine of Pachulski, Stang,
Ziehl, Young & Jones PC (Los Angeles),
Bettina Whyte of Alix Partners LLC (New
York), Gary Burns of KPMG, LLP (New
York), Thomas Allison of Huron Consulting
(Chicago), Bill Derrough of Jefferies & Company
(New York) and Dennis Simon of Crossroads, LLC
(Irvine, Cal.). The second program will feature noted economist
and CNBC television host Stuart Varney on the economic outlook. The
shows will change each month on the three carriers, and an archive will
